This privacy statement describes how and for what purposes we process personal data through our website and our B2B customer relationships, and how you can exercise your privacy rights.

Which of your personal data does Ecopharmasupply process? 

We generally process personal data of the following categories of data subjects:  

1. business customers

• Professional contact details (such as name, address, place of residence, e-mail address, telephone number) 

• Account information (such as username and password) 

• Purchase data (such as the date you purchased a particular product)

• personal data that you provide by entering into an agreement with us.

The lawfulness and purposes of the processing on which Ecopharmasupply relies 

Based on Article 6 of the GDPR, Ecopharmasupply processes data based on: 

1. Your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)) 
   In some cases we process your personal data with your permission. You can of course always withdraw your consent. 
2. The execution of an agreement (Art. 6(1)(b)) 
   We use your personal data to perform the agreement you have with us. If the data is not shared, we cannot fulfill the obligations of the agreement.  
3. Legal obligations (Art. 6(1)(c)) 

We may share your data with authorities or regulators, where required by law.  

To whom does Ecopharmasupply provide your personal data? 

Ecopharmasupply may provide your personal data to third parties in accordance with this Privacy Statement and the law. Ecopharmasupply will not disclose your personal data to third parties without your express consent. 

Your personal data may be received by the categories below: 

1. Companies in the Abacus Medicine Group 
   We may share personal data with companies in our group in order to jointly provide content and products and/or services (such as registration and customer support), to assist in the development of products, websites, applications, services, tools and communications and to prevent potentially illegal prevent, detect and investigate activities, violations of our policies, fraud and/or data security breaches. 
   
   2) Authorities 
   For example, regulators, tax authorities, police and other legal authorities. We may share your personal data: 

• to comply with legal obligations or a court order or 

• if this is necessary for the prevention, detection or prosecution of criminal offenses (such as fraud, deception or prosecution) or 
• if it is necessary to enforce our policies or to protect the rights and freedoms of others.
  
  3) Business service providers (data processors) 
  For example, a mail delivery company engaged by Ecopharmasupply to deliver the product you have purchased.
  
  4) Other 
  Any third party for whom we have received your permission to share your personal data (for example in the context of a collaboration), and/or of which Ecopharmasupply is now or in the future part as a result of a reorganisation, merger or acquisition. 

Use of data processors 

Data processors are third parties that perform parts of our services. We have concluded processor agreements with data processors. This means that they are not allowed to do anything with personal data unless we have instructed them to do so. Ecopharmasupply may use selected sub-processors to perform their tasks. They will not provide personal data to other organizations. They are responsible for the storage and security of personal data and keep it for the period that we instruct them to do. 

Are your personal data processed outside the EU? 

Your personal data processed by Ecopharmasupply will only be processed within the borders of the European Union, except as described below for Google Analytics. All European countries must comply with the same legal rules, which aim to ensure a consistent level of protection at European level when processing personal data.

How long is your personal data stored? 

Personal data used for the execution of an agreement or general communication will be stored as long as the information is needed during business.  

In general, financial data is kept for 7 years in relation to tax regulations. 

As for the retention period of cookies, please see specifications below in this statement.  

Security 

Ecopharmasupply has taken appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect personal data against loss or against any form of unlawful processing. The security level has been adjusted with due observance of the prevailing standards. These standards are also used by our data processors. The personal data stored in our systems and those of our processors is handled very carefully and only employees who need access for their position are allowed to view this data. Ecopharmasupply tests the security measures very regularly and adjusts them if there is reason to do so. 

Rights of data subjects 

Ecopharmasupply is the data controller under the GDPR 

You have the right to withdraw your consent, access, rectify and/or delete the collection of your personal data by Ecopharmasupply (if Ecopharmasupply is the data controller). In addition, you can invoke the following rights at Ecopharmasupply: the right to restriction of your personal data processing, the right to the portability of your personal data and the right to object. Below you can read where and how you can use these rights. 

If you wish to inspect your personal data processing and/or rectify or delete data (to the extent permissible) that you cannot adjust yourself, you can contact us in the manner described below. 

Please note that Ecopharmasupply may request additional information to verify your identity. 

Should you not be satisfied with the processing of your personal data, you have the right to lodge a complaint with the Belgium data protection Authority.

The lawfulness and purposes of the processing using website analysis with Google Analytics  

The legal basis for the use of cookies is GDPR Article 6(1)(a) and the consent you provide us with. 

The cookies categorized as strictly necessary help provide you with services and features available through our website and remember whether you have given a consent or not. These cookies are essential for the functioning of the website and do not require your consent. This processing is therefore based on GDPR Article 6 (1)(f), and our legitimate interest in providing you with good browsing experience, while limiting the processing of your personal data. 

You can at any time change or withdraw your consent on our website by clicking on the cookie symbol at the bottom left of the page. However, if you do not consent, please be aware that this may affect some of the functions and services on the website. 

It is possible to prevent the use of cookie tracking by activating the opt-out plug in, known as a “Do not track”-function, in your browser settings. In this case, an opt-out cookie is stored on your browser that prevents cookies from being installed on your device. If you delete your cookies, the opt-out cookie will also be deleted and must therefore be reactivated when you revisit the website. 

Transfer to a third country 

Data collected by Google is transferred out of the European Union. Ecopharmasupply and Google utilizes the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework adequacy decision.
